BURLINGTON CITY ARTS FOUNDATION

The BCA Foundation (BCAF) is a private, non-profit, 501 (c) (3), organization that was formed in 1998 with the goal of helping to assure that the resources are available to support the mission of BCA, a municipal agency. The BCAF has a track record of success, having led the effort to raise $3.5 million to renovate the Ethan Allen Firehouse into a five floor arts center (the BCA Center) between 1999 and 2004, and more recently in 2016, spearheading fundraising to support the move of BCA Studios to 405 Pine Street. In 2019, the BCAF raised additional funds to purchase 405 Pine Street, securing space for the arts now and for future generations, and setting the stage for a new capital campaign for expansion.

In addition to fundraising, the BCAF manages special projects and supports artists and small organizations as a fiscal sponsor on a case by case basis.
